Asa ga Kita

Asa ga Kita is a 15-minutes serial TV novel (連続テレビ小説) or known as moring drama/asadora (朝ドラ)by a Japanese broadcaster NHK and is currently airing. This dorama is based on a novel inspired by life of Hirooka Asako (1849-1919), a Japanese businesswoman, teacher and social activist. She is praised as wise, strong spirited woman that represented Japanese businesswoman in Meiji era. (Wikipedia)

I started watching Asa ga Kita every morning when I was in Kanazawa on a study abroad program. Thank the cable TV we own has NHK in it, so I can continue watching Asa. But I don't really understand the story, giving the setting is Osaka, they talk with Osaka-ben, and of course no subtitle www. Anyway it's a story about the heroine, Asa, a tomboyish teenage woman who works on coal mining to survive because her dame otto, Shinjirou doesn't want to work :V though now Asa doesn't do the hard job anymore since she gave birth and they're having a good life with the business she's running. Anyway, I won't write a review of this dorama here, I want to talk about today's episode (or yesterday because it's passed midnight w). It's about my favorite character there, Godai Tomoatsu (Dean Fujioka), which apparently a real life person character. Godai Tomoatsu was one of the Satsuma students of 1865 who were smuggled out of Bakumatsu period Japan to study in Great Britain. He returned to become Japan's leading entrepreneur of the early Meiji period. (Wikipedia)

Godai-san was the only person who wore suits even before Meiji era, plus he's so handsome, which is why he's so easy to be recognized. He met Asa when he was a teenager and that time Asa was still a kid. He had a crush on Asa, even after Asa is married to Shinjirou, he still cared about her and helped her a lot, which sometimes made Shinjirou jealous seeing their closeness plus Asa's obliviousness of that. Poor guy... at least you're handsome and smart :') Soooooo he had a disease which was getting worse (Idk what it was) and he was even ready to die anytime. Until today's episode, after Asa knew about his disease, she talked to Godai-san about penguins he told her way before. From what I get, there is this "first penguin", means when penguins jump into the water where there are predators, one must jump first. To Asa, after all these time they struggled with their life and business, Godai-san is that "first penguin". He started something new and kept facing forward despite the obstacles. Hearing what she said, Godai-san cried and became optimistic once again. He then went to Tokyo to treat his disease, but sadly he couldn't survive and passed away.

That moment when I thought this season I'll survive from anime character death pain, suddenly there's my favorite died in a dorama. Why must all my favorites die...........?!?!!?!

After the dorama was over, there is this program named Asaichi. In this special episode, they invited Dean Fujioka who played Godai-san role because today's episode was the last episode for Godai-san. He's sure loved by the fans;;;;;;;;; And btw thank to that first penguin thing, it's all about penguins when people talk about Dean-san/Godai-san. So cute yet so deep :'''''')

Of course Dean-san talked about Godai-san character (they showed some scenes of him in the dorama) and his own life. There's this shocking truth. He's married to an Indonesian woman and has twin son-daughter and currently lives in Jakarta. PLEASE DO SOMETHING LIKE EVENT AND INVITE HIM OMG LET ME SEE HIM FOR REAL. Also THERE'S HOPE FOR US TO MARRY IKEMEN NIHONJIN, DON'T WORRY *gets hit*

That was probably why I didn't feel good and so dizzy this morning, also I had a dream of meeting Oguri and his wife. WELL IDK WHY IT WASN'T DEAN-SAN BUT THE SITUATION IS KINDA SAME I MEAN FAVORITE ACTORS ARE TAKEN. Then my flu got worsen.

Mobage I'm Currently on

Mobage (mobile games) can be played anywhere and anytime you want, especially when you don't know when you're busy or rarely be at home. I used to play games on computer before I got PSP, but now my PSP battery isn't good anymore, it could die fast. Meanwhile mobage is developing nowadays. Especially Japanese games. Mostly I play games which are anime adaptation games or the games that have the full voice characters with the seiyuus I like.

Now after bunch of mobage I've been playing, only these four that I keep until now.

JoJo no Kimyouna Bouken -Stardust Shooters-

Probably most of the best games I've ever played. Because I'm biased with this series and especially this game only focuses on part 1-3, my favorite JoJo parts. Which is why I'm not happy when they released part 4 ability medals to celebrate part 4 anime confirmed. Almost two years I've been playing this game and this game is the easiest to level up, easiest to get characters and its events give many prizes, even the login bonus is really generous. I'm having a lot of fun playing this kimyouna karambol game www

These are the medals I've been collecting. I only need JoseCae SSR and my tenshis SSR medals to complete my collections. I won't stop until I get them!

Next are the new mobage which just released last year.

Bleach -Brave Souls-

For now, Brave Souls is the only Bleach game that can fulfill my need of Bleach anime. I hope they'll decide when the anime will continue. My main target for playing this game is to collect all Rukia and Grimmjow!

They just released the English ver. last week which I didn't aware. My other Bleach friends are playing there while I'm alone playing in Japanese server :'3c But the characters I got are good, I won't play the English ver.~

Fate/Grand Order

This game allows you to own all Fate series' servants Anyway I gotta get them all. My luck is the lowest here, I could hardly get SSR servants;;;;;;;

I'm okay, I got my Andersen. He's the strongest caster no matter what!

Kingdom Hearts Unchainedx

The prologue of Kingdom Hearts series. I might not getting to enjoy seiyuu service here but I'm pretty lucky to get almost all my favorite characters already this fast~

I hope Sephiroth gacha will show up again later. I missed the chance to gacha Zack again last week orz

On 14th some sad things happened. At first I watched on TV that there was 6.7-magnitude earthquake hit Hokkaido, not long after that a bomb terror on Sarinah, and then lastly Alan Rickman passed away on age 69, also like David Bowie days before, he died because of cancer.

Professor Snape is my favorite character in Harry Potter from the first time I watched the movie. I always prefer antagonist sides than protagonist. Though Professor Snape isn't actually antagonist, he's anti-hero character. Which is why, after they showed Professor Snape's past until his death, I loved him even more. That kind of character always interest me and usually there must be the reason why they act like that. What makes them changed in the past, and mostly it was a painful past. Just like how Professor Snape was.

Thanks to Professor Snape character, I couldn't unsee him as other character in other films. He was the best and a veeeerrrrry handsome ojiisan////// Everyone, especially Harry Potter fans loved him. RIP Alan Rickman...

RIP David Bowie

David Bowie passed away yesterday because of cancer. Honestly, I know nothing about him before I read JoJo. On JoJo part 7 Steel Ball Run, one of the antagonists name is Dr. Ferdinand (named after the band Franz Ferdinand) possessed a Stand named after David Bowie's song; Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps). Which eventually this Stand was owned by Diego Brando.

Also, among the fandom, Yoshikage Kira the final boss from JoJo part 4 Diamond is Unbreakable, the fans believe that his design looks like David Bowie.

Thanks to that, lots of edited images and fanarts of David as Kira and his Stand, Killer Queen were shared in internet.

It was a really short time to know him (though sadly not because of his works, sorry). RIP David Bowie.
